We have added an IceBreak feature to list tables, view and files in libraries.

Sometimes it is a little annoying if you use long tables names, and you don't know the physical filename behind it. Also - if you use the new SQL tool in ACS, the you don't know what is in a specific library / schema. Since you don't have any prompting (yet).

Now you can simply use the syscat view like this:

Accessing Icecap from outside the firewall

Hi Niels,

Firstly, thanks to you & your team for all your help in resolving our issues. We’re getting close to being able to deploy our initial Sales Team application. Because the Icecap system is already password protected, I don’t want to the sales team to have to open a VPN connection and then log in to the application. In your experience, what is the best method for deploying applications whilst avoiding the use of a VPN?

Arthur

Issues with libraries and schema ownership

Hi,

I'm having issues with libraries and schema ownership. Why do you have IceBreak create a library with the server instead of a schema?

What I really need is to be able to create 50 IceBreak servers and have IceBreak assign ownership of the library to the user profile of the same name. Is this possible?
