The installation process of Ghostscript 9.06 in BlueSeries is as follow:

1:
Ensure you have BlueSeries version 6.10 at PTF level 132-Z

Note that the Z-ptf package is commutative and is frequently updated. The version-date has to be after 15-12-2014

2:
End the Bluseries subsystem

Go blueseries
Endxsbs

3:
Download Ghost script from:
http://webfiles.icebreak.org/webfiles/install/ghost-9-06.zip

4:
Unzip the file to the IFS at
/BlueSeries/ghostscript

5:
Update or create the following data areas:

CRTDTAARA DTAARA(BLUEX/GHOSTLIB) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(128) VALUE(‘/BlueSeries/ghostscript/lib') 
TEXT('Qualified GhostScript lib path')

CRTDTAARA DTAARA(BLUEX/GHOSTPATH) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(128) VALUE(‘/BlueSeries/ghostscript') 
TEXT('Qualified GhostScript path')

Where BLUEX is the library of your BlueSeries

The data areas might already exist, so please update the data areas accordingly

6:
Restart the BluesSeries subsystem
