Have you noticed that frames with a shading sometimes do not look that nice in the PDF output? The reason is, that the grey frames are created with a pattern of white and black dots and they can be visible in PDF. A way to get around that is to do this:
- Create the right grey color via option ‘7. Work with palette colors’ on the administration menu. For a normal grey the red, green and blue components should all be the same. The higher the number, the lighter the shade.
- Prior to the frame element you insert an ink element, that is using the grey color you just created.
- For the color shading in the frame you set it to 100% black.
- You should set back the ink to black right after the frame.
