We have seen some problems on newer InterForm400 versions when it comes to printing on Printronix printers. The reason is, that the ZPL language (or rather how Zebra printers works) has changed a bit over the years so the output from InterForm400 has also changed a little bit. This has caused a printing problem on some Printronix printers when upgrading to a 2011 or 2012 Version of InterForm400.

There are two solutions to this problem:

1. Doing a firmware upgrade of the Printronix printers. I have a special firmware that you can get if interested.
2. If you are ONLY printing to your ZPL printers from InterForm400 and no other applications, then you can consider a change in the InterForm400 configuration as alternative. This will change the ZPL printers configuration and likely making it impossible to print from other applications until you change the configuration back. This is a global change (for all ZPL printouts from InterForm400). You can change it by selecting this in InterForm400:

Then press Enter multiple times until you get to this screen:

If you set the control command prefix to hex 10 and the format command prefix to hex 1E like above, then the ZPL output will print both Zebra and Printronix printers, that are ZPLII compatible.
