We have found a problem concerning InterForm400 testcodes for year 2010. This may cause the license code to look like it runs out in year 2000 instead of 2010 or even cause an I/O error when trying to access the license screen.
This is a problem for all 2004 versions and later except version 2009M09. To solve the problem we suggest that you install the PTF ASAP on all machines you know of before the test code is inserted. The PTF will however also solve the problem if you should happen to insert a testcode active in year 2010 before the PTF is installed.

The PTF is installed by unzipping the relevant file and placing it in either /qdls/apf3812 or /apf3812home/PTFS.
Use /apf3812home/PTFs in 2008 beta and 2009 versions.
Use /qdls/apf3812 for official 2008 versions and earlier.

After that you select this in InterForm400:

  • 80. Administering InterForm 400
  • 12. Service functions
  • 50. Apply PTF
  • Type the PTF number (e.g. 3791 for 2009 versions), then press Enter and F10.

In the bottom of this post a PTF is attached for these InterForm400 versions:
2007M01-2007M09:      PTF 3493
2008M01-2008M20:      PTF 3666
2008M501-2008M526:  PTF 3793
2009M01-2009M09:      PTF 3791

Here is the description for the PTFs:
