Is it possible to shut down individual SHAREDPOOL servers now without having to end the entire subsystem?

Hi Kevin;

Yes; it is also implemented experimental build 0345;

When you use the ENDICESVR it will terminate the terminate any carnations of the web-server instances as swell as all the application servers in the pool

Hint: you can use the ENDICESVR RESTART(*YES) to decries to pool size to the the initial size.

Other features in that build are:

  • Framework export and import works in SHREADPOOL mode
  • Chunked support works also in SHAREDPOOL mode
  • SOAP services performs better that ever in SHAREDPOOL mode  
  • Admin server also runs in SHAREDPOOL mode now – better that ever :)
  • Glitches in installation are fixed
