The reason can be found in the automated "Hardcopy" Function in BlueFax.

Open option 15 in BlueFax the BlueFax main menu, and scroll once to find "Hardcopy Output Queue name".

The default is set to *NONE, which means that no Hardcopies are printed.

But if you opens an userprofile (option 8 in the main menu) and looks for "Hardcopy Output Queue name" you will see, that the default value is set *USERPRF.

This will overrule the BlueFax system default, in option 15, as the *USRPRF inherits the values set for the original AS/400 userprofiles (not BlueFax)

Fix:

Select option 8 "Work with user profiles"
Select the "Hardcopy Output Queue name" to *NONE, or to the name of the actual output queue.

To avoid the problem with new/future users, it might be a good idea to create a user profile called *DFT who are using the right "Hardcopy Output Queue name".
